Session started at 7:05 pm on April 22nd, 2008

Attending players: Ben, Nick, and Eva

Presiding GM: Aaron

We speed away from the ghoul-town with our rescuee. Her name is Ashley Cho. I explain to her that we've extracted her on good faith and need information on our target, Arizona. She must be really happy to not be on the menu anymore, because she coughs up a 2,600 NY and her home phone number. (I get her as a free contact.)

She also has news on our target. Paul was nearby "somewhere safe" working on stuff for her company. The area was taken over by ghouls. While they were moving him to a different safe-house they were attacked by ghouls and she was captured. She gives us the address of the safe-house and requests that if we're going to extract him we drop her off in Renton near public transit.

I get the distinct impression that Ashley does not appreciate her employers abandoning her to be eaten by ghouls and won't be too sad if we muck things up for them. She just needs plausible denyability as our information source. We drop her off at a well-lit bus stop, as requested.

Des sends a group of surveillance drones off to look at the safe-house. There's apparently a jamming field around the safe-house, so he sends one of them in with orders to snoop. It comes back with pictures of a rundown three bedroom ranch home.

The area was a suburb, but most of the buildings have fallen into ruin. The jamming field is about a km across, not a very subtile way of saying "nothing important here." Perhaps they were going for "leave us alone"? It seems like there are more effective ways to say that.

It's about 21:00 and it's starting to get dark out. Des pulls up quietly a few dozen yards away. We don't see any lights on in the house. Will says it's lit up with infrared, especially the basement windows. It may be full of equipment or people or something totally different. It's too early to tell.
