Making a neck facing, step two:
Using your straight edge and pencil, carefully trace around the outside edge of the cut out neck piece, being careful not to shift the piece as you trace it. The picture shows the resulting outline. It's okay to do a small amount of smoothing around the edges if you cut a sort of ragged neck opening, but don't do too much or the facing won't match up to the existing garment opening.
