Agatha, but not really

Digital Changeling > Sewing > Costumes > Girl Genius Costumes > Agatha, but not really

This is unfortunately the closest I've come to actually managing to get an Agatha costume together. Considering that I had less than a week to change gears, I think I did moderately well. The pink sunglasses are because I'm not actually dressed as Agatha, I'm dressed as Dr. Helen Narbon dressed as Agatha. If you want an explanation, check out my page for the Girl Genius LARP from Intercon G.

As far as how I made the costume, I used the Truly Victorian walking skirt pattern I had already made up once (TV291) and heavily modified the Truly Victorian French Vest Bodice pattern (TV463) to make it double breasted, change the neck line, and take the pleats out of the back. I didn't have the time to get more materials and replicate one of the actual outfits Agatha wears in the comic. That would have been much, much cooler, but hopefully the "lurid circus colors" got the idea across. ;)
